More than a brand —
a celebration of artistry

NainTaara was born from a deep love of Indian craft and a desire to carry it forward. We work directly with artisan families in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh, preserving techniques refined over centuries.

From the luminous shimmer of Chanderi silk to bold hand block-printed cotton shirts — everything we make is touched by human hands, shaped by heritage, and made to last.

Uniquely made. Responsibly crafted.

The art of the handmade

Every NainTaara piece is conceived by artisans who have spent generations mastering their craft. No two pieces are ever exactly alike.

01

Handloom Weaving

Traditional pit looms operated by master weavers in Chanderi and Kota — preserving a method no machine can replicate.

02

Natural Dyeing

Hues sourced from indigo, turmeric, pomegranate rind and other botanicals — kind to skin and earth.

03

Block Printing

Hand-carved teakwood blocks pressed by skilled artisans to create intricate, unique repeating patterns.

04

Tie & Dye / Shibori

Ancient resist-dyeing techniques — fabric folded/ stitched, twisted and bound before dyeing to create one-of-a-kind patterns.

Our Social Initiative

The Threads of Hope Programme

Every purchase lights up a future

Every NainTaara purchase you make helps fund the schooling of a weaver’s child. We believe the hands that create beauty deserve children who grow up with choices. Through our Threads of Hope initiative, a portion of every sale goes directly to educational support for the children of our artisan families in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh — covering school fees, books and uniforms.

When you buy NainTaara, you’re not just buying a beautiful piece of cloth. You’re threading hope into a child’s future.

Meet the hands behind NainTaara

Behind every NainTaara piece is a real person with a lifetime of skill. Here are two of the artisans whose hands bring our textiles to life.

Bagru, Rajasthan

Rameshwar Lal

Master Block Printer

🌟 34 years of craft

Rameshwar Lal learned the ancient art of Bagru block printing from his father at the age of twelve, in the dusty courtyard of their family home. Today, at 67, his hands move with a precision no machine has matched — pressing hand-carved teakwood blocks with exactly the right weight to create the clean, expressive prints NainTaara is known for. He uses only natural dyes — indigo, madder, pomegranate rind — mixed to inherited recipes. His three sons now work alongside him, keeping the tradition alive for another generation.

Kota, Rajasthan

Savitri Devi

Master Kota Doria Weaver

🌟 22 years of craft

Savitri Devi sits at her pit loom from dawn, weaving the distinctive square-check khaddar texture that defines Kota Doria — one of India’s most delicate GI-tagged textiles. At 44, she is considered one of the finest weavers in her community. “When I weave, I think of the woman who will wear it. I want her to feel like she is wearing the breeze.” Savitri is a Threads of Hope beneficiary — her daughter is in secondary school, the first in the family to reach that milestone.

Your questions, answered

Do you ship to the US, UK and EU?

Yes, absolutely. We ship worldwide including the US, UK, all EU member countries, UAE, Australia, Canada, Germany and Singapore. International orders are dispatched within 3–5 business days and typically arrive within 7–14 days depending on destination.

Do your products meet EU and US quality standards?

Yes. We follow a rigorous QA playbook for all export orders — every piece is inspected for colour fastness (ISO 105 standards), fabric integrity, dimensional accuracy and finishing before dispatch. Our natural dyes are free from AZO compounds and meet REACH regulation requirements for EU buyers. We’re happy to share our QA checklist on request.

Can I order a custom design or bespoke garment?

Absolutely yes! We love bespoke orders. Share your design brief — sketch, mood board, reference image, or simply a description — and we will team it with your choice of fabric and hand block or tie & dye prints, crafted to your exact specifications. This service is available for bulk orders. WhatsApp or email us to start the conversation.

Can I request fabric samples before a bulk order?

Yes — we strongly encourage sample orders before bulk purchases. Contact us on WhatsApp or via the enquiry form and we’ll arrange a sample set tailored to your interest area — sarees, suits, shirts, yardage or home linen.

Do you do wholesale and bulk orders?

Yes — wholesale is a core part of our business. We work with boutiques, interior designers, hotels and gift shops worldwide. Minimum order quantities and pricing are available on request. We also offer a free Zoom lookbook session for serious buyers.

What sizes are available for men’s shirts?

Our Block & Roll shirts are available in S, M, L, XL and XXL following standard EU/US sizing guidelines. We also offer custom sizing for bulk orders. Each shirt is cut with a relaxed, comfortable fit — please WhatsApp us for a detailed size chart.

How do I care for my NainTaara products?

Most products should be hand washed in cold water with a mild detergent, dried in shade away from direct sunlight, and never bleached. Specific care notes appear on each product above. When in doubt — gentle is always best!

How long does delivery take?

Within India: 3–5 business days. International: 7–14 business days for most destinations. We use reputable courier services and provide tracking for every shipment.
